New iPhone 6 can't load videos on Google, YouTube, Facebook, etc.

when I click a video to stream, it just shows it as loading, but never starts playing. Videos I took with the camera play fine. Cellular data is turned on. being on wifi didn't help either. Any thoughts?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3
