Toshiba external hard drive no longer connecting

Basically, I have a Toshiba 1tb external hard drive that I had formatted properly and put a ton of photos and files on. About 200gb worth. Now recently I went to access it all and it no longer can read it.

What can I do? I don't even care about the hard drive. I just want the data. Is there a way I can move all of it over to another external hard drive I have? Only using macs.

As you can see in the picture below its "Grayed" out. If I try to repair disk, it fails. Help.
