freezing mac pro 2013

I've been having freezing problems with my mac pro. I've done everything I can think of to find the cause of the problem. I haven't been able to find it.

Mac Pro (Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Note the time of the next freeze. After rebooting open the Console app in Finder>Applications>Utilities and look for log entries at the time of the freeze. Post suspicious ones here.

Also what was the Mac doing when it froze?

I was switching from one desktop to the other and transferring data from one external drive to the other.

The 'evidence' from the 'scene of the crime' should have been recorded in system log.

Entires there are time-stamped with the exact date&time, so they should be discoverable.

console.app is the tool used to view the entries there.
