Anyway know how to disable video card for MacBook Pro (2006)

So I've been told that my video card is bad in my MacBook Pro from 2006. Yes, its been a workhorse! I was wondering if I disable the video card driver will it still be able to work? It pixelates in normal mode, it works fine in safe mode.

Can someone advise or instruct how to do this?
