VaultClient_8_0_1_299 msi failed to install

I have WIndows 8.1 installed with Bootcamp 5.1 on my MacBook Pro Retina 13 (early 2015).

I am trying to install Vault with a downloaded VaultClient_8_0_1_299.msi file, and I got this error:

This same msi file would run on a Windows laptop though.

Has anyone run into a similar error? (note that I have run SosClientProfession msi file on this Windows OS of my MacBook Pro before without any problem).

Can you verify the integrity of the MSI file with the source using MD5sum or SHA1?

That was it! THANK YOU, Loner!

I ran MD5sum and found that my local downloaded msi file was a corrupted msi file (probably caused by BitDefender anti-virus protection software ?).

With another good msi file, I could install Vault successfully.
