I have been able to block only one number on iPhone 5 running IOS 8.4. In settings>Phone and Settings>Messages, that number is listed as "Blocked". I cannot "Add New". Tapping on the Add New takes me to my list of Contacts. How can I add new phone numbers to the single item that I have entered?

Go to Contacts. Tap on the contact you want to block. Tap "Block This Caller".

Go to Recents. Tap the lower case "i" in a circle to the right of a number you want to block. Tap "Block this Caller".

So simple. Tapping on the I is what I needed. I had done it once about a year ago and could not recall it. Many thanks.
