I am new to Mac and have had my MacbookPro for about 2 weeks. Today the copy and paste feature is not working, no matter the browser, and I don't know how to fix this. I have restarted my laptop to no avail. If someone can help me I'd really appreciate it.

Some stuff on the web is a graphic "picture" of text. You cannot select that text, and therefore will not be able to Cut it.

Can you copy and paste text in any application, such as TextEdit?

I believe this was the issue as I am able to copy and paste other text. I was just too stubborn to try anything other than a particular piece...which happened to be a critique of the Mac "photos vs iPhotos".
