Location shared by another device. How do I fix?
I messed up something following an OS update on my iPhone. How do I fix "Location shared by another device?"

Please tell us more. Do you have the Find my Friends App?
Yes. It believes now that my wife's phone and my phone are the same phone.
I haven't used it in a while, but this used to be how to do it. Should still function the same but items might be in different locations.
Start Find My Friends app on any of your devices
Got to the Me tab and then tapping on the Accounts button near the top-left corner.
From there you can swipe-to-delete to remove devices from this list
You can also sign out if both phones are signed into the same account and have each sign in on their own account.
Nope, "Account" not visible under "Me" tab. Can't find a way to sign out. iPhone OS.
I'm guessing at this point where it is. You can try Settings > Find My Friend. If it is not there we'll have to wait until someone that knows the current implementation of the program comes along.
Are you and your wife sharing an Apple ID? If so, that's most likely the cause of the problem. You should each have your own. You can use Family Sharing if you want to share purchased content.
Nope, not there on my iPhone. But thanks any way. I've tried deleting and reloading the app. No luck. Restarting the the phones. No luck. Using the app's "Me"-- "Share my location from" selecting "This device" but it seems to be linked to the other phone. Puzzling. Thanks again.
Tried deleting the app, signing back in on Apple Apps with her ID. Downloaded fresh app. Didn't work. Seemed logical.
Thanks just the same.
