The Facebook app "f" icon I downloaded from the App store replaced the Applications icon in the dock. Neither I have not been able to change it back,
nor find the original icon on my MacBook Pro early 2011, OSX 10.10.5. Yosemite
Further the Facebook app did not access Facebook.

Thank you very much for your solution for the dock icon.
Do you have recommendations to changing the folder icon to the original A icon,
and replacing the f the "app for Facebook" that still appears as the first icon in the open Application window?
I was able to remove the Facebook icon by deleting the program and icon in Launchpad. Whew. Thanks again for your recommendation. Best regards, A
