Canon Pixma MX922 compatible to OS X Yosemite?

We need to replace our printer and are considering the Canon mentioned above. Most printers seem to be wireless--thus the Pixma MX922 model--we would probably only use it with our desktop. We'd appreciate any input/info as to whether this would be compatible and somewhat easy to install. We are really novices! Thank you so much!
