Trying to change standby delay using terminal but password locked out with message below. Password works to login to computer as admin, only user on 2012 macbook pro retina. Did password reset but problem still exist.

Last login: Fri Sep 4 20:44:38 on ttys000

Roberts-MBP:~ BobAubrey$ sudo pmset -a standbydelay 43200

We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System

Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:

#1) Respect the privacy of others.

#2) Think before you type.

#3) With great power comes great responsibility.

Password:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

The password for the Terminal 'sudo' command is NEVER echoed, not even with 'bullets' the way Mac OS X does.

You have to type it blind and cross your fingers. The results will tell you whether you typed it correctly.
