I have a mid 2011 21.5 iMac. The top section of the back of the iMac gets very hot. Is that normal for these models? Is my iMac about to call it quits. It gets pretty hot to the touch. If this is not normal please advise.

The computer has to have an exhaust port, the back upper left of the computer is the exhaust vent. Your computer is likely operating perfectly. One thing you can do is post actual temps and you can also remove the RAM cover and vacuum out any accumulated dust. DO NOT blow air into the computer!!!
