please my iphone 4 keep telling me that the sim card is not supported on the apple server. please any one out there with a solution. it is an iphone 4.

please can anyone explain how to go about my iphone 4c that keeps telling me that the sim card is not supported on the apple server. please what can i or should i do next to use this phone.

Your phone is probably locked to a carrier. If so, you will need to use a SIM from the carrier the phone is locked to or get the carrier to unlock the phone. Only carriers unlock phones. Where did you buy/get this phone?
