Q: Bootcamp mac drivers

A simple question regarding the mac drivers for bootcamp. I have downloaded them and have them on my MacBook Pro. My question is where do these go. All information regarding this is vague. At what stage and importantly, how, do I use these. When Bootcamp is created they are already on the drive.
Having tried and failed to install Bootcamp I find this very frustrating. The installation is halted due to lack of drivers! I can create a empty Bootcamp drive.
I have an original Windows 7 disc with serial, have made an iso of it and have created a usb drive following all instructions. When I use Bootcamp assistant my trackpad and mouse work, but when trying to install from the disc get as far as the Windows screen asking for info, i.e. region etc and the trackpad and mouse are not working. So find it impossible to troubleshoot this problem myself. After my ramble about his problem would really appreciate some help.
One last comment. The reason for wanting Bootcamp is to use my PC version Photoshop 5 without having to signup to CS and start paying a lot of money. Adobe wouldn't allow me to change the licence from PC to Mac even though subsequent versions can and are cross platform.

    1. Use BC Assistant to start the Windows process.

    2. If your Mac supports USB-based installation, choose that option. Please ensure that you use a USB2 flash drive. USB3 does not work. External USB-connected HDDs also do not work.

    3. Choose Download option, if not already checked.

    4. Check the last option if you are ready to install Windows.

    5. BCA will download Windows support software and erase/format the USB, as necessary.

    6. It will prompt you for the Windows ISO location, if using USB installer, otherwise you will need a physical DVD and a fully functional Optical drive.

    7. For USB Installers, it will prompt you for the location of the ISO.

    8. It will create an integrated (BC drivers + Windows installer), and prompt for partitioning size.

    9. Start the Windows Installer.

    10. Silently try to install BC drivers. If they fail, you can always run setup.exe from Bootcamp folder.
