I backup my WhatsApp using iOS after 7, how to restore it using device with iOS before 7? it stated "No Backup Found", =(

I was using iPhone 6 with iOS later than 7 and the device was having hardware issue and need to send back to Apple for repair.

I've back up my WhatsApp data onto iCloud before I send in the device.

I'm currently using iPhone 3GS (iOS before 7) and when I wanted to restore my backup, it stated "No Backup Found".

Is this means that the backup that i did for Whatsapp on iPhone 6 are all deleted?

Please advise as the information in Whatsapp is very important to me.

Welcome to the Apple Community.

You can't restore to a device that can't run the software used on the device that was backed up.

Does this means that I will be able to restore my backup when I login into a new iPhone 6, with the latest iOS?
