Q: How do I get back my partition?

my computer crashed after my boot camp made the partition, i tried to remove bootcamp through Bootcamp Assistant but i got an error. I tried to do remove bootcamp the same way but it didn't give me the option to remove bootcamp. i checked disk utility and found this...

Does anyone know how to return this space to my Macintosh?

Drag the slider below Macintosh HD down as far as it will go and then click Apply.

What error did you get when attempting to remove the partition using Boot Camp Assistant?

Try booting into the Safe Mode and see if Boot Camp Assistant can remove it there.

You cannot simply drag the slider to take spaces left by boot camp since that partitioned was differently formatted. OS X couldn't do this kind of stuff. You need Stellar Partition Manager to create a bootable media in order to boot Mac from it. Then resize HFS partition to claim the left spaces. The resizing will reformat the unused spaces to hfs and it would become a single drive. iPartition is another software that can perform this.
