Hey there,
for a couple of weeks now I have an issue with Safari: When browsing on some websites Safari starts downloading small files such as pixel.gif, pixel-1.gif, pixel-2.gif and so on...
Anyone having the same issues? Any idea to fix it?

You're probably using ad-blocking software that blocks single-pixel "web bugs."

Yes, I do use the AdBlock add-on. But same issue even when I disable it.
I don't know of anything else you can do. The sites are defective or incompatible.

It happens on many sites, even on the most famous German news sites such as www.spiegel.de
Are you sure you don't have any other ad-blocking software, such as "GlimmerBlocker?"
Is there no solution out for this. same happens since yesterday in my macbook. Every site visit makes Safari downloading a pixel.gif.
