os 10.10.5 showing as system but won't open and wifi keeps dropping

This problem only occured in the last couple of days. When I open my iMac I get a line of text

panic (cpu caller xffffff800a863cb1): "unable to find driver for this platform: etc etc

I have tried a safe reboot and used utilities to check my hard drive to no avail, all coming up okay. Also my wifi connection keeps dropping. What is happening here??

iMac, OS 10.10.5

From your question, it sounds like you may be experiencing a kernel panic. I realize that you have already tried some good troubleshooting, but the issue remains. To continue troubleshooting this situation, please read over and work through the steps located in the attached articles below.
