Why can't I update my Macbook Pro's system to the newest version?

Hi,

I want to update my system to the newest version recently. But I found there were no response after I clicking the DOWNLOAD button in App Store. It seems I have no way to update the system of my Macbook Pro. Is there someone can help me to figure it out?

Thanks!

The download runs in the background, so the download may already be running. The download usually shows up as a progress bar associated with the Yosemite installer or in Mission Control. If not, use the Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads in the App Store menus, then follow the Mac App Store Troubleshooting sequences, and see if you can clear this up.
