ipad sync problems with windows10. itunes cannot 'see' the ipad

Using an ipad with ios 8.4.1. Downloaded Windows 10 and now I cannot connect my ipad or ipod to iTunes for syncing. I've checked to see if the driver is installed and it's showing it is but I still cannot connect to iTunes.

iPad 2, iOS 8.4.1
