Problem faced when printing using Canon IR 2520 printer with MacBook Air

I recently bought a MacBook Air (O.S. X Yosemite 10.10.2 and trying to use a Canon IR 2520 printer. When try it through network it never appeared. When I connected it through USB it printed a page first time. Then,I tried to install scangear for scanning software and now printer doesn't work. It shows that it is printing and makes some moves and stops with a beep. It neither prints nor shows any error message.

It is really frustrating and I would be very much grateful for an advice.
