I can open Safary. I get this mes all the time Safari quit unexpectedly while using the librooksbas.dylib plug-in.

It is likely related to an online banking security program called "Rapport" or "Trusteer Endpoint Protection." In spite of continued efforts on the part of its developers, it does not work properly with Safari and can slow the Mac when using other programs.
