Two problems. How do i stop

Two problems!! How do i stop my safari homepage automatically loading the apple website? Secondly, although my default browser is safari i seem to be searching on bing )): How do i stop this ?

Change your home page to what you want.

Bing is a search engine like Google. Safari is a browser.

Safari --> Preferences --> General tab --> For homepage, put in whatever website you want it to be. Mine is https://encrypted.google.com.

To make Google your default search engine: Safari --> Preferences --> Search --> Google

Do you mean that the default search engine is not Bing, but searches go to Bing anyway?
