Mackeeper

Hello:)

I have been experiencing continuous issues with my mac. Its about 10 years old now. It freezes long running programs and I almost always have to force quit applications. So I installed Mackeeper. I still have the same issues. It seems to clean up my computer so its operable, but the freezing continues. My question is , is this a safe application, and does anyone out there have any suggestions on any alternatives? I am proficient but not a pro by any means ..... 🙂 Thanks!!!!
