Hi, I have this problem with windows 10 pro were the brightness isn't as bright as it can go. Its up to the max and I know it can go brighter because when I turn it on, in the loading screen, it dims the screen. Is this a windows 10 problem or a bootcamp driver problem and can it be fixed. This does not effect any external monitor.

Do you have Adaptive Lighting enabled? Is the Light Sensor driver installed?
I'm not sure and what is adaptive lighting.
I can control my brightness but that link didn't help me at all.
Run a SMC Reset and test.

Thanks, this helped a lot! Finally I can go to readable levels with my brightness!
Now all that is left is to get pinch-to-zoom and horizontal scrolling to work with the Force Touch pad on my MBP 2015 and I have the perfect Windows laptop! 😉
I solved the issue, its going to sound dumb but all I had to do was go to the display settings and uncheck automatically adjust the brightness of the display. Thanks for your help.
