I like to use Apple Pay at McDonald's, Subway, and other places but recently when I went to McDonald's drive-through they wanted to use an optical scanner to scan the NFC chip in my Apple Watch.
Am I the only person having this problem? You can't scan a radio frequency chip using an optical scanner!

The feedback form enables you to report problems with specific merchants, locations and transactions, so is helpful in enabling Apple to investigate and address any issues raised.

I often find that they want to treat it as a scanner. I have had to educate multiple drive thru attendants that if they take my phone (after AP is enabled) that they can complete the transaction.
When did McDonald's stop taking Apple Pay at their drive thru?
