Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like the screen fades to white, and this does not happen on other screens. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

- Start up in Safe Mode.
- From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
- Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
- Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
- Restart your computer.
