Q: random disconnect of airport extreme

I have to reboot my 2014 model airport extreme at least once a day.  The green light turns off and I lose connection to all devices. 

This is a known problem - I see discussions regarding it every time I look.  I've already returned and replaced the unit once.  Has Apple done anything to solve this problem through firmware/software update during the past 4 months or so?  If not, I'll try to return it for a full refund so I can get a decent router from another manufacturer.

    The last firmware update was almost 2 years ago. Best to return the product for a refund if you can.....but, since Apple has yet to even acknowledge that this issue exists, returning the product for a refund may not be an easy task.
