Q: Iphone 5c backup

I recently got a new phone, not an iphone. However, before i started using this new phone, i backed up my 5c. Now that im trying to recover pictures from that backup, i cant find them. They're not on the icloud, even though it said it backed up on the icloud. Ive tried restoring it o a different device, but its not giving me the option to restore my 5c backing, to the iphone 4 i have. Help please!

Hello dewcrmf,

I understand that you would like to get the contents of your iCloud backup of your old iPhone 5c, but running into issue. Now if you are using an iPhone 4 to put the data back on, that is something that will not work. The reason is with the version of iOS on your iPhone 4 is not as high as the iPhone 5c. The only way that you are going to get the contents of your back up is to have an iPhone that was the same version of the iPhone 5c or greater.

If restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup requires a newer version of iOS
