How can I prevent to have the Duck on my iMac ? I hate if anythin istalls itself on my computer, even if it may be ok.

Is there a simple way to prevent it on the imac ? I prefer to search things direct in safari.

It hasn't been 'installed', it's in effect just a bookmark. Just ignore it and use Google instead if you don't like it (set it as default search engine in Safari Preferences).

DuckDuckGo is there by default.

Apple added it to the list of search engines.
