"Weekly Summary" is not working properly

I've been wearing the watch for nearly three months, and I've had the "Weekly Summary" in the Activity switched on the whole time. It's supposed to give an update of your week's activity every Monday, but it's only given me the update 3-4 times (less than half of the Mondays I've had it on). It seems very sporadic in when it actually gives the update. I haven't gotten an update for the past two Mondays...the only thing I can think of is that at the precise moment it was supposed to be triggered, I was away from my phone or something? Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi Matthew

On your iPhone, in the Apple Watch app, go to:

My Watch > Activity > Weekly Summary - there, toggle the slider to turn Weekly Summary off, pause for a few moments and then turn it back on again.

This may prompt delivery of your latest notification and/or lead to normal delivery resuming next week.

Afterwards, you can also try restarting both your iPhone and your Apple Watch:

  • Restart iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears; Drag the slider to turn your iPhone off; When it has finished turning off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
  • Restart Apple Watch: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
