I have an iPhone 5c and I upgraded to iOS 8.4.1 just yesterday. I now cannot send email from my phone (but I can receive). Help please!!! I'm heading overseas for 3 weeks in 3 days and really need to sort this. Optus Australia are very difficult to get hold off. Thanks 🙂

You may try restarting your device first:
If it does not help:
Delete the account in Mail application and then set up the account again. Navigate to Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars / Accounts Tap on the Account, then on Remove Account button
Add an email account on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple

Please delete your mail account in settings. Restart phone then add your account again.
If this does not help. Do the same but instead of deleting just reset all settings. You will not lose any data.
