Path to locate cache in mac finder 10.10.5

Looking for the path to the cache/cookies directory via Finder. I've been there once through a support call and did not write the path down but it went something like this:

Finder/Option/

Caches

Launch Agents

Cookies

I am missing one or two key steps or commands but the above is as much as I could remember. Help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

There is also CCleaner and others and can be used quite safely - when not running - they will alert and warn if they are and offer/prompt to quit apps - to do just that for browsers.

A Safe Boot is excellent for handling system cache.

Go to User Library which in Lion became a hidden directory and you will find inside /Users/xyz/Library various application support folders, browsers, cache etc.

But removing history, cache, is easy from inside Safari though.

And some "supercookies" are out of our control anymore - why you see ads in Facebook for something you were looking at (not bought!) on Amazon or elselwhere used by Facebook and others.

  1. What version of Mac OS X and Safrai? (or other Applications)?
  2. What model Mac?
  3. What exactly are your symptoms?

1. All above, up to date on Firefox (10.10.5 osx, FF 40.0.3)

2. MacBook Pro, early 2011

3. I am fiddling with a minor but still very annoying issue on Youtube. Until recently, clearing the history would refresh the youtube page back to neutral. But recently regardless of clearing history, restarting, etc, videos related to whatever I last browsed are plastered all over the front of youtube. It is infuriating! I know these 'supercookies' can be cleared through the back door and I'd like to master that so I can reclaim control of my content. Deeply appreciate any helpful solutions!
