iCloud.com calendar is locked

Hi

We have a number of iPhones and PC's that use iCloud for contacts and .

Yesterday we had to restore our calendars via the iCloud.com backup system which let you roll back up to 30days.

After the restore completed the calendar isn't working on any of the PC's, iPhones. When you try re-enabling the calendar in the iCloud software on the PC you get the following error. "Your setup couldn't be started because the iCloud server stopped responding" This is the same for all PC's

Also when you log into the icloud.com and click on calendar web app you get "Calendar is Locked. Due to Account maintenance, calendar is currently unavailable"

I've check the apple's service status and everything seems to be online.

Can anyone help.

Same problem, spend hours with support, no resolution. Escalated to technitions and engineers

Everybody has been experiencing this issue it would seem. I myself have been on the phone with Apple Support and they couldn't resolve it. Yesterday was with my Reminders not syncing to iCloud, and yesterday and today, my iCal hasn't been syncing with iCloud.

It would appear El Capitan broke iCloud!

I have the same problem from today and couldn't get past it even after more than an hour with an Apple engineer. I have a scheduled follow up for next week, but in the meanwhile I've imported by .ics backup into Google Calendar and working from there.
