Q: Sending group emails

I want to send an email to 2,000 people in a way that each recipient sees only his or her address. Can this be done in Mac Mail? I have deselected "when sending to a group, show all email addresses" in Preferences, but it doesn't work in test emails. I have an iMac with Yosemite 10.10.4

Thanks!

    Hi BALeblanc,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you are trying to send mail to 2000 people at one time. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Mailbox size and message sending limits in iCloud - Apple Support

    • The total number of messages you can send each day (200 messages)
    • The number of recipients you can message each day (1000 recipients)
    • The maximum number of recipients per message (100 recipients)
    • The size of incoming and outgoing messages (20 MB, up to 5 GB with Mail Drop turned on)

    Cheers
