Q: Air Drop not accessible on MacBook Pro

Air Drop is not showing in my finder folder. I have located it in the extensions tab but it is grayed out. Please help

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Do yo mean it is not showing up in the left sidebar of Finder?
Is AirDrop checked in Finder>Preferences>Sidebar?
What Model MacBook Pro?

I have a late 2013 Mac Pro and AirDrop is in the Sidebar of Finer and works but in System Preferences>ExtensionsShar Menu AirDrop is Checked but grayed out.
