Q: Restoring iPhone 6 Plus - Error 3014

I have read and tried every "method" to solve the 3014 restore error including:

- clean HOSTS file

- disabling firewall

- bypassing wireless router

- using a different computer

- uninstalling / reinstalling iTunes

I am using Windows 10.

Restoring on a Mac would be one of the things you did notary yet, check this article:
If you see Error 3194, Error 17, or 'This device isn't eligible for the requested build' in iTunes - Apple Support

Has the phone been jailbroken? If yes, this could be the reason for not being able to restore.
