Display Port/Thunderbolt Using Mini Port MST

Anyone use a Mini Port MST on a MAC? I assume this would work to multi-monitor from one display port, but know there are specific versions 1.1 and 1.2 from Intel and would like to know if it is possible. I know you need 1.2 to daisy chain them but assume an MST device would not be version dependent. I am using a Mac Book Pro Retina 2013 if that helps.....

Bit late, but MST is supported on a Late 2013 macbook pro retina 15": Use 4K displays and Ultra HD TVs with your Mac - Apple Support.

Unfortunately though, it's only supported to drive 4k displays. It's not supported for daisy chaining. I'm keeping track of posts about this issue here MST Support but no support for daisy chaining?, and added this one to it.
