On Find and manage your iTunes backups - Apple Support I can see the path where the backups are located. I can clearly see that a single backup is divided into multiple individual files instead of single file. I am factory resetting my pc and I want to keep my backups. If I copy the 'Backup' folder and paste it in the same path after I do a fresh reinstall of the OS and iTunes will I still be able to utilize the backups? I'm not sure whether iTunes uses some security measures on backups to identify the computer.
