Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My daughter turned off my Mac. I turned it back on and it is searching for a non existent wireless keyboard. My keyboard is a plug in one, and it is plugged in. I can't stop the keyboard search and since the system doesn't seem to recognise my plug in keyboard I can't log in either.
What do I do?

I'm not sure, but I'd power off & try holding shift key at next startup.
I turned it off, still had the same problem when I turned it back on. Turned it off again and it was fine when I turned it back on the second time. I have no idea what the problem was but it seems to be OK now.
