2008 Air Port Extreme

I have an Air Port Extreme from 2008 that I was using on a 2007 desktop Mac running 10.5.2. Can I still use this older Air Port on a new MacBook Air? I have a CD for the installation, how can I get an on line version? Also, I can see the Air Port Utility in my MacBook Air, but it asks for a password. How can I find out what the password was? It's not in my keychain. Thanks in advance!

yes, sure

i also use that 2008 AirPort, very good product

you can reset password and you do not need CD

Here is my issue: I need to access the control panel on the airport extreme. Since the software is not on my new laptop, I can not access the software. I want to set time limits for my teenage son and I have now way to do this since I got a new laptop.
