My iPad, even when on same network and next to my other Apple devices, is not displaying security confirmation codes, such as the code I needed to submit this message. It used to .
My iPhone does this flawlessly but iPad has stopped displaying, I don't think i is receiving the codes
Is there a special setting somewhere in my iPad settings that I have forgotten to configure?

I suspect you are referring to the two-step verification codes. I suspect you're saying you no longer receive these (four digit) codes on your iPad.

My iPad Air IS recognized as trusted deviice. It is listed along with my iPhone

So the fact it did not receive a confirmation code , when my phone did (when I chose the phone instead of my iPad) immediately
Given the difference I cannot blame network connectivityl
WEll, Apple Chat guy had me reset all my settings... maybe that will fix..
