MacBook smokes, Magsafe-Board 820-2565-A replacement

Hi,

my Macbook Battery doesn't charge anymore!

The LED doesn't shine. But i let the L-Magsafe Plug in its place and then after some seconds it began to smoke (a lot) out of the CAT-Connector and smells like burned electronic. I screamed and than checked the DC on the Powersupply (14V). Seems alright, so I ordered a new Magsafe-Board.

After replacement of the tiny board, i hopefully connect the power and it smokes again! I checked the mainboard and most of the other parts and the only visibly burned transistor is placed on the Magsafe-Board.

Whats wrong?

What else i have to replace?

Aren't the 14V?

Please, i love my macbook and i will not let it die!

best!

Go to the apple store immediately and don't use your macbook for the time being! I don't know what is wrong (could be logic board) but smoke indicates the vaporisation of components on the motherboard and that is never good. Let apple technicians find out what is wrong exactly. Then you can decide if you want to replace the components yourself or let apple do it (if you are still under warranty, let apple handle the repair).

Hope this helps
