Mail size on Iphone

hi,

I have an Iphone 52 with 16 gigabytes. The size of my mail application is 2.1 gigabyte although I have removed all my mail accounts and restarted my Iphone. What should I do to reduce the size to 0.0 gigabyte? Thanks in advance

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4.1

Hi! I guess you may try setting up you email account from scratch. Before doing this, reset your phone.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
Press and hold on the Home button
Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

Hi,

I have tried both, but unfortunately it did not help, the mail size stays the same. Are there any other solutions?
