migrating i-tunes to new pc using pcmover (laplink) ...a no go ...

Anyone have any hints as to what happened & EZ fixes. Tried migrating myold pc to new (both Dells) using Laplink's "pcmover". Went fine according to the program.
However I tunes won't start/run. I just get an error message when I try to open it. I can only "see" 1 file (load) under windows "my music" folder on desktop & it's empty ( 0 bytes).
Didn't migrate my emails/addressbook either in outlook express. Did for other user, but not me. weird.
Should I delete i-tunes (add/remove) & re-install or just try reinstalling? I have icons for itunes, but "running" it fails. I get one of those "sorry, i-tunes has encountered an error & must close " message. Error report exception details are not helpful to me...all "0000000" pretty much the same thing with Quicktime ...fails to run, same error message.
Any suggestions?

Hey mrbetatest,

Alternate plan might be to install iTunes fresh on new PC.

Then from old PC back up playlists:

You may want to backup your iTunes from original PC, if it has not been done:

Here is an article describing option to Move your iTunes Library:

Hope this helps,
