Q: Copying pictures to SD to view on TV

My pictures show up but they also show an additional file that reads "cannot read file" on the TV screen.

How do I eliminate these mystery files???

Hare to say with just a problem and no information

basically the answer is to read the TV manual and in iPhoto select the photos and export (file menu ==> export) to a desktop folder according the the TV photos requirements then drag the photos in that folder to the correct place on the SD card for the TV to read them

Getting them out of iPhoto to a desktop folder with the desired specs is a subject for this forum - how the TV works and what it requires is not - that is for the specific TV manual or support forum to answer

With Iphoto  did try out IDVD for viewing pictures on TV - you also can import them into IMOVIE --

did do both a long time ago just to say I used them.

At a guess these are the respire forks of the image files, and the FAT formatted SD card doesn't understand them. You can strip these using an app like
