I just switched my PC to Windows 10, and iTunes no longer appears to recognize my iPhone 5s. Is there a solution?

Yes - but there is a fix. We had this problem at my work on our Win10 test computers, but this fixed it:

Hi I had the same problem...iPhone 6 iOS9 and Windows 10. iTunes was recognizing my iPhone for several days after my iOS9 upgrade then it suddenly stopped syncing. Thanks to this solution it now works

Also there is a new Phone Companion app in Windows 10, if you install this, it seems to override the iTunes settings. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and worked. Tried the driver solution and iTunes reinstall to no avail until I uninstalled the Phone Companion.
