Q: iPad Connection Lost - But Not On All Tabs!?

My iPad (current software) will be connected to the internet using Safari and working fine, then suddenly give a "Cannot Open Page" not connected to internet error.  If I have more than one tab open and jump to another tab, that tab continues to work fine.  I can bounce back to the error, and refresh and back up, but it is still telling me I am not connected to the internet.   I've had this happen at home and anywhere I've used my iPad. There are many days where I never have a problem, and other days, like today, where it's constant.  I have restarted and updated.  Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
