Will I be able to purchase a Hermes band?

As a new owner of an 42mm Apple Watch I was very excited to learn of Apple's partnership with Hermes. I think the new watch faces and bands that Apple has partnered with Hermes on are the best design options available for the watch. Unfortunately, On the Apple Hermes page I see that they only seem to be selling the bands with the case, rather than the bands individually.

I only recently purchased my Apple Watch, and am wondering if I should return it, and then attempt to purchase an Apple Watch Hermes. Or, if Hermes bands will be made available for separate, individual purchase without having to buy a new case?

This is a user-based technical support community so, beyond what has been publicly announced by Apple, I'm afraid that no-one here can tell you what products may become in future. Also, the Terms of Use do not allow speculation here.

The collection will be available to buy from selected Apple retail stores and from selected Hermès stores, specialty stores and department stores from 5 October in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, the UK and the US.
