Sep 11, 2015 4:24 PM in response to anujaari150by bobseufert,Correct. I'm curious, the iPad Pro has gotten much more favorable comments from other iPad users then I thought it would get. Are you interested in getting one ?

Sep 11, 2015 4:26 PM in response to bobseufertby anujaari150 ,Totally. 4 speakers, A9 chip, 12.9" display, who wouldn't?

Sep 11, 2015 6:56 PM in response to anujaari150by bobseufert,Thank you. Before it was introduced many people were cold to the idea of a larger iPad. Once they saw it they wanted one. It sounds like Apple hit a home run on this one.

Sep 11, 2015 7:15 PM in response to bobseufertby anujaari150 ,Apple's iPad pro was designed to be the future of portable computers with its 13" display. And now, with iOS 9, they've done just that.

Sep 12, 2015 7:52 AM in response to KimberleeMSby arbdj,I read somewhere about an iPad Air 3 towards the end of the year. Maybe that's the answer to Pencil compatibility on a classically size iPad.
I have an iPad Air 2 and a Pencil by 53. I'd really like another stylus with the finest tip and least latency. I see the Jot Script has been recommend, does anyone else have a recommendation?
Thanks!

Sep 12, 2015 5:50 PM in response to arbdjby TomVB,Now, that takes the cake. Apple (Jobs) waits years to finally get us a stylus/pencil/drawing device ... balking and balking (#badthing) ... and then introduces it as something that is only for a premium device. (#musthavething)

Sep 12, 2015 5:53 PM in response to TomVBby deggie,Mr. Jobs is no longer with us in case you hadn't heard. He had nothing to do with this decision. The new stylus was designed with the new screen technology of the iPad Pro. This is not unusual for any electronics company and especially for Apple.

Sep 12, 2015 6:14 PM in response to TomVBby bobseufert,I'd be curious to see how many current iPad users adopt the stylus. I bought my iPad because it didn't need add ons and can't see the use for them now.

Sep 12, 2015 6:17 PM in response to bobseufertby deggie,Current users can't adopt the Apple Pencil at all. If I was going to pay the big bucks for the iPad Pro I would get the Pencil. I do have styli I use with my iPad 3.

With the way the stylus worked on the iPads prior to the iPad Pro, I must agree with you.
Having watch the presentation of the iPad Pro and saw how the stylus works on it, I must disagree with you. I think plenty of people that spring for the iPad Pro will also get the Apple Pencil. It works at a totally different level to any stylus before it. It gives far more functionality for creative uses.

Sep 12, 2015 6:38 PM in response to bobseufertby Allan Eckert,Me to. When I was younger I used to sketch but I haven't done it years. Right now I am into so many other things I doubt that I would have the time to start again. It does look like fun.

Sep 14, 2015 8:26 AM in response to _rogueFive_by BobFrankly,If you're having difficulty with precision with the JotTouch, I would suggest trying ProCreate. I use the JotTouch 4 with an iPad Air, and found that a number of the drawing apps seem to have an annoying offset with a stylus. Sketchbook is (or was, haven't tried in awhile) really bad in this regard, but Procreate feels dead on, to the point that I'm not actively thinking about pen position. I'm just drawing.
